Service Description

Learn how to provide mental health support to others - focus on adult-to-adult situations. Learn and practice how to explore and respond to adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing worsening of a mental health problem, or are currently experiencing an acute mental health crisis. This course provides a 3-year accreditation on successful completion of an online open book quiz. 12 hours of training is mandatory to be eligible for accreditation, so ensure you are not late for these trainer-lead, immersive sessions. Your instructor is Leigh Fraser-Gray - Accredited 'Principle Master Trainer' of MH First Aid since 2018, Founder and Lead Clinician at MH Services & Training, providing MH counselling and supervision since 2016, as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker under AASW. Leigh runs a psychology services clinic in Brisbane, and in addition, trains hundreds of people each year. This in-person training is hosted at our training center upstairs at The Astor Centre on Upper Edward St, in Spring Hill. Note: Each course must have a minimum number of enrolments to proceed. Speak with us as soon as you know you might miss the course for any reason, we typically will simply transfer you into another session, or within a reasonable timeframe (5-7 days), arrange a refund.
