MH First Aid (Refresher) Wed April 1st

Service Description

This course will extend your existing MHFA accreditation by another 3 years on successful completion of an online open book quiz. Update your knowledge based on the latest research in the mental health responses, work through mental health first aid interactions, and practice your mental health first aid skills across a range of mental health problems and mental health crisis situations. 4 hours of coursework (run from 9:00am to 2:00pm, with a break) is mandatory to be eligible for accreditation, so ensure you are not late for these trainer-lead, immersive sessions. The $275 Fee covers the MHFA all instruction, materials, and support, and is inclusive of all GST. Your instructor is Leigh Fraser-Gray - Accredited 'Principle Master Trainer' of MH First Aid since 2018, Founder and Lead Clinician at MH Services & Training, providing MH counselling and supervision since 2016, as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker under AASW. Leigh runs a psychology services clinic in Brisbane, and in addition, trains hundreds of people each year. This in-person training is hosted at our training center on 7th floor at The Astor Centre on Upper Edward St, in Spring Hill. We are 400m up from Central Station or 'early bird' parking at Astor Car Park next door is advertised from $18 per day. Local eateries are many with a range of options. Note: Each course requires a minimum number of enrolments to proceed.
